Fastest Growing Women's Sport
In just the last few years, girls’ participation in wrestling across New Jersey has more than tripled, with thousands now competing statewide and dozens of high schools offering official girls teams.
Wrestling is a fully sanctioned NJSIAA championship sport and a United States Olympic sport, with women competing on the world’s biggest stage.
At the collegiate level, more than 100 colleges and universities now sponsor women’s wrestling programs, creating real and growing pathways for girls to continue competing well beyond high school.
